Recently sold

Every six months, we prepare a list of recently sold Danish rights, which have been sold abroad. The lists are not exhaustive, but include the titles that the various agencies have informed us have been sold for publication abroad. Thus, if the individual agencies do not inform us about their sale of rights, they are not included in the lists.

If you look at the recently sold lists for the last decade, you can see that:

• The largest purchasers of Danish literature are Norway, Sweden and Germany
• Jussi Adler-Olsen is the best-selling author of fiction
• Lene Kaaberbøl is the best-selling author of literature for children and young adults
• Jesper Juul is the best-selling author of non-fiction
• Since 2009, Danish literature has been sold to 50 different countries.
