Composer agreements

The Danish Arts Foundation may provide partial funding for the composer’s fee.

Short- or long-term composer agreements. These may include: Commissioned works, composer-in-residence agreements, residencies and other mutually binding arrangements between commissioning parties and Danish composers across the musical field. The Danish Arts Foundation may provide partial funding for the composer’s fee.

Exhibition of Danish Art Abroad

Grants for Danish artists' travel, accommodation and transport of works in connection with the exhibition of Danish contemporary art outside Denmark.

You may apply for subsidies from this fund for production of Danish books for children and young adults, for translations to and from Danish, literary events, literary festivals, travel and research, and other literary projects for children and young adults.

Grants to nordic publishers to cover translation fees.

Curators, directors of art institutions and other art professionals from abroad may apply for funding to carry out curatorial research in Denmark. /// NOTE: If a possible grant is to be paid in 2019, the application must be submitted by October 31, 2019. You may apply after this date, but any possible grant will only be paid late January 2019.
