Tour de Chambre

Tour de Chambre is a novel of friendship, infatuation and death – and the desire to write and create. A desire that has a will of its own.
Asta receives an invitation to a memorial service for August, who passed away ten years ago. Back then, they lived in a student digs together and August was the boyfriend of Asta's best friend, Mai. Now Asta is working on a novel, but the invitation disrupts everything, present and past merge into one; parties, longings and doubt are brought to life along with the one thing Asta has never been admitted to Mai.

About the author

The Royal Danish Theatre’s stage production of the novel adapted by Høeg in autumn 2018 received rave reviews, and the performance sold out. Høeg is also the author of ‘I Tried to Dance It Away’, a radio play. She has published a collection of poetry, ‘Hej Sol Fuck Love’ and regularly contributes to various anthologies and journals.
