Children & Young Adults

Klappelade syltefisk

Klappelade syltefisk is the framework for a special interaction between children and adults; a bubbly collection of playful, rhythmical, fun and curious verses, rhymes and strings of words that are accompanied by wonderful pictures. The interaction between text and illustration makes for a unique, dual reading/visual experience. The book can support the development of the child’s vocabulary and conceptual understanding as the reader is presented with unfamiliar concepts yet to be articulated into language. The book plays with the Danish language, and the fun rhymes invoke an opportunity for discussion, laughter and reflection. An artful and unusual reading/visual experience for children and adults alike.
