Who may apply?
Publishers, heads of literary institutions and festivals. The research programme is aimed primarily at applicants who already have contacts in the Danish literary field and are therefore able themselves to arrange meetings and visits to writers, publishers and institutions.

Purpose of the program
To provide foreign publishers, literary agents and heads of literary festivals etc. with the opportunity to acquire an insight into contemporary Danish literature and the Danish literary scene, and to strengthen networking and dialogue between the Danish and international literary scenes.
How your application will be evaluated?
• The visit must promote and strengthen the international networks of Danish writers, publishers etc. and/or Danish literary institutions
• The visit must play a decisive role in promoting awareness abroad of Danish writers, publishers etc. and/or Danish literary institutions
• The visit must promote concrete collaborations between the Danish and international literary scenes
Who will evaluate your application?
The Danish Agency for Culture assesses applications according to the criteria laid down by the Danish Arts Foundation’s Committee for Literary Project Funding.
How much you may apply for?
The length of a typical research visit is 2-4 days and the application can be made for maximum two persons.
Application can be made for grants to cover the direct cost of travel and accommodation. Form of travel and of accommodation must be of standard economy class. A budget for the trip should be attached. Use the budget scheme below
Grants are only awarded to cover these two forms of expenditure and not for general living expenses etc. Applicants from developing countries can also apply for a subsistence allowance. The definition of a developing country follows the criteria set by the Danish Centre for Culture and Development.
What the application must contain?
For all applicants with a non-Danish account: Fill in the bank information and attach it to your application.
It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the application is complete and correct. The application will be processed on basis of the information received.
Once you have submitted the application
You can expect to receive a reply within 4 weeks (except in July, when no reply should be expected).
Accounting and auditing
