BogForum – The Danish Book Fair in Copenhagen
Each year the Danish Arts Council invites a large group of foreign translators of Danish literature to Denmark for the Danish Book Fair in Copenhagen. Over the three days of the fair the translators meet their Danish fellow translators, publishers and authors.

Visiting Programme for Publishers
Each year the Danish Arts Council invites a group of foreign publishers to Copenhagen. During the three-day visit they can meet individually with Danish publishing colleagues, are introduced to the Arts Council’s international funding schemes and attend readings and other events at which they can meet Danish authors.

Illustrated Children's Books Denmark in Spain
From February to May 2011 the exhibition Illustrated Children's Books Denmark visits four cities in northern Spain: Gijón, Bilbao, Santiago de Compostela and Santander. In connection with the exhibition there will be a series of activities, and in some cities it will be possible for schools and families as well as for professionals to participate in workshops with some of the Danish illustrators. The exhibition is a result of the collaboration between the Danish embassy in Madrid, and Spanish institutions and cultural units.

Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, Non/Fiction – Moscow International Book Fair,
Bologna Children’s Book Fair
Representatives from the Danish Arts Council attend the international book fairs, where we provide information about funding schemes, Danish literature and Danish literary institutions and publishers. In addition to its regular annual presence at the fairs in London, Bologna, Frankfurt and Moscow the Danish Arts Council also attends other selected fairs: in 2011, for example, Denmark is involved in the Nordic contribution to the Salon du livre de Paris, at which the Nordic countries are guests of honour.

Kiel – Europäisches Festival des Debütromans
Every year the Danish Arts Council sends one first-time novelist and one publisher to the Kiel First Novel Festival.
