The Danish Arts Council strongly supports the local anchoring of arts policy,
where this is focused on development, quality, diversity and international perspectives.
The Danish Arts Council and its affiliated committees provide support to the dissemination and production of the locally based art through a number of existing pools.
The funding pools are mainly targeted local arts festivals, music schools and the establishment of local arts councils wthin the area of visual arts.
