Credits - The Danish Arts Council

|

9th of March 2012

The Danish Arts Council must be credited in connection with the publication and presentation of activities for which the Council has provided support.

The crediting should appear on any posters, programmes or Internet pages that particularly relate to the supported activity.

Where possible, the logo of the Danish Arts Council should be used in the crediting. Various versions of the logo for use with Internet pages and printed material may be downloaded below.

On posters, it is sufficient to include the Danish Arts Council logo. In other instances the crediting information should also include a brief text specifying which of the Danish Arts Council's committees has provided the support.

Below, we give six examples of ways in which the crediting may be phrased in English. The English names of all the committees are stated in the examples.

  1. "The project is sponsored by the Danish Arts Council Committee for Visual Arts."
  2. "The translation has been sponsored by the Danish Arts Council Committee for Literature."
  3. "The tour has been sponsored by the Danish Arts Council Committee for Music."
  4. "The performance is sponsored by the Danish Arts Council Committee for Performing Arts."
  5. "The exhibition is sponsored by the Danish Arts Council Committee for International Visual Arts."
  6. If a project has many patrons and sponsors, the expression "supported by" may be utilised instead of "sponsored by".
