Exquisite works by leading Danish designers and craftspeople

Every year, MINDCRAFT presents a new selection of the finest Danish craft and design during the Milan design week.

This year’s exhibition was curated by the Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi. The exhibition featured fourteen new works by some of Denmark’s leading designers and craftspeople: Benandsebastian, Louise Campbell, Rosa Tolnov Clausen, Claydies, Edvard-Steenfatt, Halstrøm-Odgaard, Ole Jensen, Jørgensen-Depping, Akiko Kuwahata, Cecilie Manz, Eske Rex, Tora Urup, Henrik Vibskov and Jakob Wagner. The exhibition was presented on 14-19 April 2015 in Chiostro Minore di San Simpliciano.

Mirror floor in an evocative setting

This year, MINDCRAFT was presented in the unique historical setting of Chiostro Minore di San Simpliciano. The central feature of the exhibition architecture was a 500-square-metre mirror floor that reflected both the contemporary Danish design and the historical setting of the old cloister. The exhibition generated significant interest during the design week and was very well received by the people of Milan, who appreciated the mix of tradition and renewal achieved by the exhibition. The exhibition architecture was designed by GamFratesi.
