Ny mentorordning for interkulturelle kunstnere
Statens Kunstråd ønsker at sætte fokus på kunstnerisk mangfoldighed og interkulturelle projekter og prioriteringer for kunstnere og kulturelle institutioner i Danmark. Satsningen omfatter rådets fagområder: billedkunst, litteratur, musik og scenekunst.
Rådgivning af interkulturelle kunstnere
Statens Kunstråds mentorordning har til formål at tilbyde et-årige rådgivningsforløb til interkulturelle kunstnere om mulighederne for at etablere sig på den danske kunstscene. Interkulturelle kunstnere vil blive præsenteret for networking, hjælp til projektudvikling med henblik på udstillingsaktiviteter, rådgivning om de kunstneriske uddannelser og kunststøttesystemet samt brugbar viden om den danske kunst- og kulturscene.
Rådgivning af kunst- og kulturinstitutioner
Ordningen omfatter også rådgivning af kunst- og kulturinstitutioner, som gennem workshopforløb af to-tre dages varighed kan modtage faglig viden om det interkulturelle område samt råd om udvikling af nye metoder til at producere og fremme kvalificeret kunst med interkulturel profil.
Praktisk information
- Der er løbende ansøgningsfrist for interkulturelle kunstnere, som ønsker en professionel mentor.
- Professionelle, etablerede kunstnere, som ønsker at påtage sig rollen som mentor og workshopleder for institutioner, kan søge inden 19. februar 2010.
- Kulturinstitutioner bedes kontakte Statens Kunstråds interkulturelle konsulent direkte med henblik på workshopforløb.

The Danish Arts Council’s Mentor programme for intercultural artists is open for candidates, both mentors and mentees can apply now
The Danish Arts Council intends to focus on diversity and intercultural projects and prioritise them with respect to artists and cultural institutions in Denmark. The effort is directed towards the Council’s areas of operation: visual arts, literature, music, and performing arts and dance.
The mentor programme introduces artists to networking opportunities and gives them new information about the danish arts and cultural scene through workshops and personal mentoring.
